Dancing in my Photography
Because dancing has become such a big part of my life, of course I’ve tried to combine it with my love of photography. So I thought I’d post a few photographs I’ve taken and a video I made for Moving Media last year. Feedback appreciated!

I’m really glad that I took the time to watch this video. I’ve been a bit complacent about dancing lately, and this video made me excited for lindy hop again. Maybe the complacency is because I haven’t had time to go social dancing, maybe it’s because I’ve missed out on so many exchanges this year, or perhaps I’m in my own personal rut, but this video is kind of a wake up call for me. There is nothing old about lindy hop. It is a living, no, thriving dance. I should count myself lucky to be involved in something so amazing. Hopefully with Girl Jam coming up I’ll get my butt kicked and get back into the groove.
